In-school learning has been disrupted unexpectedly and significantly since the announcement of the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing national lockdowns or closure of class ‘bubbles’ or self-isolation of individual pupils from March 2020.
As a school we are determined to continue the education of each child should there need to be any further whole class closures or individual/family isolation due to COVID-19.
Throughout this time it has been occasionally and increasingly necessary for children to learn remotely from home. We have therefore put in place a plan for remote learning so that all children can continue with their education in an attempt to ensure continued progress in learning.
This plan is constantly reviewed by Senior Leaders, teachers and governors to ensure its effectiveness and appropriateness to the ever changing situation and to the unique needs of the pupils and families in our school community.
