Welcome to Year 6!
Mrs Wheatland is the class teacher; Mrs Bretherton and Mr Hartigan also support us in class.
Year 6 is the final chapter of primary school and this year will be full of new responsibilities and opportunities, rewarding experiences and challenges.
It is an important and exciting year. As well as reaching your potential academically, there will be plenty of opportunities to take on important key roles within school that will equip you for your transition to high school.
In Year 6 we work hard but also have fun along the way!
The register closes at 9am. Please be in school on time every day. Remember 'Rise and shine, be on time, school starts at ten to nine!'

Our Routine
Our PE days are Wednesdays and Fridays.

Supporting at Home
Please encourage your child to read regularly at home and bring their reading book into school every day. This is important even in Year 6!
The children receive a choice of homework every Friday and can be returned any day until the following Friday. Children who return their homework get Dojo points. 5 points= 1 prize
