We have spent the last few days moving everything out of the Shawbrook (old Infant) building into the Millbrook (old Junior) building.
Everyone has worked really hard to set up new classrooms and learning spaces for the children and we will all be in the same building over the next few months (along with additional classrooms for Year 5 and for Galaxy and Apollo classes) until the new school is ready (roughly August 2025)
The Shawbrook building has been operating as a school since 1961 so it will be the end of an era when it is finally knocked down in February (next month)
The Headteachers' log books from 1961 onwards make fascinating reading and we will have an event at some point soon to celebrate the years of educational provision and care towards many of our children's parents and grandparents and other friends.
