Image of Christmas joy

It's been a cracking build up to Christmas so far!

The children had a delicious Christmas Lunch prepared by our amazing catering staff (with a theme of The Polar Express) and then in the afternoon we had a visit from Father Christmas himself who gave up time from his busy schedule to say 'ho ho ho!' to the children.

The PTFA Race Night was huge fun with racing horses, dogs, pigs and Santas! The human fruit machine was in full swing and we had a bingo flyer. The chilli and hotdogs went down well and all money raised will go towards the children for equipment and books and trips.

We had a visit from Liz from the Baptist Church who did an assembly and led workshops all about the meaning of Christmas for Christians around the world and we are looking forward to the final week when children from Nursery up to Year 3 will all be taking part in our Christmas performances/nativities.

School finishes at 2pm on Friday 22nd December and we will be back to school on Monday 8th January.

It's been a brilliant and very long term so we are all ready for a well-earned rest!
